When boarding the bus you must have the exact fare. Operators do not carry change and are not allowed to search purses, pockets or backpacks for customer's fare.

Buy discounted tickets ahead of time and save. You can purchase tickets at your local senior center or at the PVTA Customer Service Center.

Proper Identification

One of the following valid identification cards must be shown to the driver each time you board: Elderly--Senior ID card; Disabled--Statewide Access Pass; Medicare--Medicare card. ID cards may be obtained at the PVTA's Customer Service Center at 1341 Main Street, Springfield.

Accessibility

All PVTA buses are wheelchair accessible. Most buses are "kneeling" buses that allow the front of the bus to lower towards the curb, easing the first step onto the bus.
