Comprehensive Regional Transit Plan Update – January 2021

This 5-year Comprehensive Regional Transit Plan Update (CTRPU) builds on the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority's (PVTA) 2014 Comprehensive Service Analysis. This document is part of an ongoing effort by PVTA to ensure that we continue to succeed by consistently working to understand our riders' evolving transportation needs and the communities we serve.
PVTA's primary goal with this document is to provide a general service overview, identify essential markets, gaps in service and ridership growth opportunities while also evaluating past performance. This document provides recommendations for a strategic 5-year vision that will prioritize developing and implementing a decision-making framework driven by data analysis and focused on performance.
