PVTA is not renewing ID's while the system is Fare Free


You are eligible to ride the bus for half-fare if...


  1. You have a Medicare card or
  2. You are at least 60 years of age
To obtain an Elderly and Mobility Impaired Transportation Access Pass (Photo ID), you will need to present one of the following:

  1. A current copy of your SSI Award Letter (Income Verification for the current year), or a valid Medicare Card (not MassHealth)
  2. A Valid Handicapped Placard
  3. Be 60 years old with proof of age
  4. Be a Veteran with 70% or more of a disability.
If you cannot meet any one of those requirements, you may fill out a Transportation Access Pass Application. It must be signed by your attending physician.

Have your PVTA Photo ID taken and printed on-site at one of PVTA's Customer Service Offices.
