New transit app feature, Live GO trip sharing

Riders can now share their live GO trips with a simple invite link, allowing recipients to follow along with their ride in real time!
Once a GO trip has started, riders can share it by tapping a share icon and sending a link to the people of their choosing. When recipients open the link, it’ll open Transit and show them the trip in their app, including the rider’s live location, ETA, and full route details.
Since each GO trip has its own sharing link, riders always have control over which trips they share and who they bring along. During a shared trip, they can see all the people following them and when they joined, as well as any past followers and when they left.
Sharing stops automatically once riders reach their destination or quit their GO trip. They can also tap “Stop Sharing” at any time to turn it off mid-ride, and followers can leave at any time by tapping the “Stop following” button.
Whether it’s meeting up with friends or keeping loved ones updated on the way home, sharing your GO trip lets them know where you are, where you’re going, and when you’ll get there – all in real time!
