Demand Response service transition to new booking and scheduling system!
Beginning Saturday, October 24th, PVTA ADA Paratransit and Dial-A-Ride will transition to a new Demand Response booking and scheduling system. Your van service will not change.
We’re simply adding more ways to book and manage your trips, so you can choose the option that works best for you! If you prefer to continue speaking with a reservationist, you can continue to call the same phone number (413) 739-7436 and book your trip as you currently do.
Your PVTA van service remains the same:
- Your eligibility for ADA Paratransit and Senior Dial-A-Ride service will not change
- Trips remain fare free during PVTA’s Try Transit Program, currently funded into 2027
- Service hours remain the same
- Your scheduled recurring trips will carry over to the new system
- Service remains a shared-ride service
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be rolling out a new Van Rider Mobile app:
VALLEY CONNECT, available for iPhone and Android.
The app will allow you to:
- Book, view, and cancel your demand response trips
- See your vehicle’s estimated arrival time
- Receive trip reminders
- Get real-time updates about your trips
- Track your eligibility application progress
